Sovereign Construction initially completed a number of trial installations of electric vehicle charging points within the Tesco Head Office buildings in Hertfordshire. Following these successful installations, Sovereign has partnered with PODPOINT in order to complete numerous installations of electric vehicle charging systems within local authority high street situations, mainly in the Greater London area extending to the Midlands Wales, and private installations within sites, such as Ikea, O2, Vauxhall etc.

You don't even have to own an Electric Vehicle to qualify.
The Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) has approved Sovereign to supply and install Electric Vehicle charging posts to both domestic and commercial energy users.
Our team will work with you from initial enquiry through to final installation. We deliver a full service that includes your site survey, electrical survey and installation.
We can install a 3.7kW wall-mounted charging point completely free of charge, providing you meet the following criteria:
You own your home
You have off-road parking
Your home conforms to current IE regulations (we can help if not but there may be a charge)
The charge point can be installed within 10m of your fuse box/electricity meter (the point can be installed further away if required but there may be a charge)
You haven't already had a free charge point installed (strictly 1 per property)
A 3.7kW unit will typically take 6 hours to charge a modern electric vehicle. We also offer a 7.4kW unit for a small additional charge which can charge a modern electric vehicle in 3 hours.
More and more businesses are signing up to have Electric Vehicle Charging Points (EVCP) fitted and Sovereign can help every step of the way.
